Hailing from the town of Buncrana in the Inishowen Peninsula, fiddler PV O’Donnell became a great session friend. Our first encounter with him was through our mutual friend Joe Diamond from Maghera in County Derry and from then on when he would return from Boston he would contact us. This reel was composed for him by Aoibheann on the occasion of our last rendezvous with him.
The first tune in the set is the well known reel The Bank of Ireland.
